Not up to Carnival Standards
I love Carnival, but this boat was not up to the Carnival standard that we are accustomed too. First off, we got a suite, which should come with priority. Well, it took me finding our stateroom service guy and asking him where our luggage was for us to finally get luggage 4 hours after boarding. Our room was supposed to be done when we boarded, and was not. It also was not cleaned well. The closet doors had hand prints among other grime and dirt on them. It did not feel clean. Our stateroom service guy asked us to choose morning or evening for a turn down. We used to get both. With the price of a suite we should get both. Maintenance was in our room 3 times without notifying us. We had to exchange out our beach towels at the pool. The stateroom guy only did it once after he overheard us complaining on the way to exchange them at the pool. The water at dinner at the tea smelled like fish. It was gross. Did not feel like the food or cleanliness of the dishes was up to Carnival standards. Overall, very disappointing. The boat was full of rust spots and places where the floor was giving way (like on the sports court) . The excursions were great! The waitstaff in the dinning room especially Juliana were great. Otherwise, not up to what we are used to on Carnival.
January 2016 - 7 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Magic
Best Birthday Ever!
January is the perfect time to cruise! The boat is a little quieter without all the children, but just as fun! Food was excellent! Dr. E, the cruise director was awesome! Love his Good Morning song! Although there were a couple of setbacks (medical emergencies) the crew made sure everyone was well taken care of. Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel were awesome. Warm beautiful weather. We will definitely do this one again!
March 2015 - 6 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Magic
The Magical Carnival Magic
Fun, Fun, Fun. We brought our three grown children and our two year old grandson, there was something for everyone. The only downfall was one excursion was canceled in Costa Maya due to weather, but the rest of the cruise was awesome. Kids and grandson had a great time swimming, going to shows, dinning, and just hanging out and meeting new people. Build a Bear for our two year old in Camp Ocean was a lot of fun. The 70's Groove show was also one of our favorites. Cant wait to go again!

Key West Kayak adventure was awesome. A little rain in Freeport but cleared up for a perfect day at the resort. Another beach adventure in the Bahamas perfect for snorkling. The staff was wonderful on The Carnival Magic and called us by name. Food was great. Too much to do and see and not enough time to do it all. Highly recommended!

Cruise tips
Stayed in the port. Tons to do.
Playa Mia. It was fun but stormed half the time
Enchantment of the Seas
If you have a suite and anytime dinning, if you just show up they seat you right then!
Cenote hopping was awesome! You even get to Zipline, jump off cliffs, snorkel, and canoe. The Mayan village was great and the food was the best!
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Loved Mia Key
Excursions cancelled
Carnival Breeze
Bring magnet hooks
Went to the Water Slide park. It had a great pool and children's area. The water slides were scary. The lazy river was great for families.
Always love Galveston. No excursion.
Highly recommend Dolphinarias. Super clean, super organized, dolphins are awesome anyway:)
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Highly recommend Mia Key Private Island. Beautiful and the rescue animals are awesome.
Liberty of the Seas
Get up early to ride the flow rider lol.
Always fun on the Sail and Snorkel with Johnny Dep:)
Super fun swimming with sharks and rays. Plus Caye Caulker Island is beautiful.
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Fun on extreme zip line. Beach was OK>
Do not stay downtown. Also be careful at the mall. My husband was verbally assaulted int the mall and told to give money to a gang kid or he would be cut.
Carnival Dream
Water slides hurt your back. Need redone. The have bumps that leave a mark!
Carnival Magic
Get up early for no line at the omelet counter:)
Carnival Magic
Don't rush to dinner. It gets quite crowded waiting on the dinning room to open. We had late dinning. Make sure to take as many pictures at the ports and on elegant night as possible. You are not required to purchase them. It's fun just looking through them. We found quite a few that we loved!
Get there early
Do a short excursion so you have time to walk around. Great port.
Senior Frog has a lot going on, funny stuff!
Lots to choose from
Carnival Magic
Brunch in the morning was awesome
