Review summary

This was our first Royal Caribbean cruise. We normally cruise Carnival. I have to say, the service was much better, the staff super friendly and accommodating, awesome food, awesome drinks, awesome entertainment. It is definitely a step up. I forgot to mention that the beds are like sleeping on a cloud! LOVED it! We will definitely go again.

Food and Dining

The dinning room had superb food. We had Jordan and Chili as our waitstaff. They were more than accommodating with our 5 year old grandson. Had a booster seat ready and always had something for him to munch on while we waited for our meal. Just loved them!! Superb service!

Service and Staff

Juan was our room steward. Absolutely superb service. Waitstaff Jordan and Chili in the dinning room, again absolutely superb service. Everyone super friendly and helpful. Customer Service desk was awesome too and answered all our questions about Hurricane Harvey and assured us everything would be fine, the cruise would just be a little longer.

Went to the Water Slide park. It had a great pool and children's area. The water slides were scary. The lazy river was great for families.

Highly recommend Dolphinarias. Super clean, super organized, dolphins are awesome anyway:)

Disembarkation

As many know, this was a longer cruise than normal due to Hurricane Harvey. We rode it out to Galveston. The staff was accommodating. They even had staff available to help you with your cars if you had a flat tire or had problems getting it to start. Because the airports had limited flights out of Houston, they offered free shuttle to DFW. Superb Service.
