I would not take the Panama Canal trip again.

Review summary

The number of days at sea combined with onboard activities bored m3 to tears. If reading books or watching movies on your stateroom tv is not your favorite pastime, this cruise is not for you.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Took our own luggage off the ship for expedited disembarkation. From the moment we left our cabin to the time we were in our cab, less than twenty minutes had passed.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
With four days at sea, I found the daytime activities to be lacking and was beyond bored most of the time. It was the same thing day after day.

Entertainment

4 out of 5

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Sometimes the wait staff at the buffet were great but most time I had to hunt them down for service. The dining room experience was exceptional. The room stewards were great.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ships window, including veranda windows were not clean. The veranda itself had overheads pipes that dripped during the entire trip. A staff member came with white rustoleum paint which splattered over the deck and deck furniture and I could see the paint peeling off of the elevator enclosure.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
It took three calls to housekeeping to correct a toilet seat issue.

Ship tip

Bring friends.

When you booked the cruise you knew how many sea days there would be. You have to get your mind set right for sea days.

My wife and I both love sea days. Many activities and much relaxation.

A cruise is what you make it. It is a relaxing time to do so many things and an opportunity to meet new people.

Were those sea days added after you booked the cruise?

Why would anyone go on a cruise and stay in your stateroom and watch movies, except maybe late at night??
