Very good cruise with excellent ports of call. Outstanding food on board, especially pastries. Specialty dining was outstanding. A good size ship with 2100 passengers and 1000 crew.

The Zuiderdam singers and dancers were outstanding. Wonderful choreography and staging. Other specialty acts included illusionist, pianist, saxaphone player from Wales, and violinist from Iceland..

Good deck design. Signage for directions could have been more prominent (such as patterns in hall carpets showing direction of bow). Elevators had carpet inserts with day of week.
Cabin / Stateroom

Storage under bed and sofa, King size bed, adequate storage in closets. bathroom had medicine cabinet and tub/shower. During cruise, USB charging outlets were installed at desk and on each side of bed.
On our own with Hop on/Hop off bus and canal boat. Excellent overview of all the major highlights of the city. Saw changing of the guard at the Royal Palace at 11:00 am. Visited Tivoli and had dinner at a restaurant in the Gardens.
Saw lots of Minke whales coming into the fjord. Visit to Godafos falls, and to geothermal site. Very beautiful scenery and landscapes, but lots of flying bugs that were a bit annoying.
Three excursions during the 2 days. Golden Circle visiting surrounding areas and sites, including the rift between the European and North American tectonic plates. City tour visiting major city highlights. "Let's Go Volcano" tour included entering volcanic tube, and three inactive volcanic sites. Also included visit to geothermal power plant.
Was able to stay in stateroom until call made to disembark. Was able to board busses quickly for transport to airport. Did get to airport way too early for check in, baggage check, and getting to gate. Had to wait at least 2 hours before beginning process.
