The itinerary was the draw for me. I had high expectations and the ports exceeded them. The ship experience was nice. The cabin was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The food in the dining room was very good. The Pinnacle is always great and the Dive In was fantastic. The Lido has a great salad bar and is excellent for breakfast.
Onboard Activities

Being Holland America, the onboard activities are pretty tame. I enjoyed the spa and the casino. There are a lot of culinary sessions if that is of interest.
Entertainment
Not really interested in the entertainment.
Children's Programs
No kids with us. I can't imagine this is a super kid friendly ship.

The staff seemed very happy and was friendly. Provided excellent service.

The ship is in need of an update, but it was clean and the layout nice.
Cabin / Stateroom

We were lucky and got an aft balcony. The beds were very comfortable.
We went on the Jewels of the North tour. Excellent tour but a little rushed. We saw falls, lakes, craters and geysers. The tour included lunch which was very nice.
We went on the Vigur Island tour. If you like birds, you will love this tour. I am not a big bird fan, but enjoyed the tour and saw Puffins (which was my goal). The tour is not for people with any mobility challenges.
