This was a fun time however we had issues with our room on the boat. Everything else was good. Lots of rain on this trip, but can’t complain! Really wish the room situation was a little better but foreseen and unplanned outside of staff was amazing. Everyone was very nice and accommodating.

You need to recapture whatever magic you had pre-pandemic. I loved everything about HAL and went cruising just to enjoy the whole ship experience. It's not the same, you no longer cater to adults, and I'm sorry.

This was our 1st cruise, celebrating our 40 anniversary and The Zaandam staff made it such a memorable occasion. I will recommend this cruise to everyone I meet. Well done to all.

I was very pleasantly surprised with every aspect of this cruise.

We had previously taken the same cruise on Princess. The embarkation/disembarkation process was way better. We enjoyed visiting a number of museums that we missed last time. Holland America has a great new menu with excellent sea food options. Unfortunately, they often overcooked the food.

We didn't know what to expect for our first cruise, the size and opportunities seem to fit our desires justly. We never felt pressured or rushed. The food was good. The hot dog was excellent, but I didn't get to try it until the last day, due to the limited hours of that particular venue. That lil burger spot being the only one onboard, would be a preference for me personally.

Everything was great. No complaints. All the staff we interacted with were wonderful. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the guitarist in the evenings.

The food was horrible, I got food poisoning, the ship was old and smell weirs, the excursions were a rip-off and the on board entertainment was a joke.

We totally enjoyed our weeklong cruise to Alaska from Vancouver. The ship’s crew were excellent - helpful, personable and eager to make our stay memorable. The room was amazing and the weather slowed us to enjoy our balcony throughout the trip. Our favorite hangouts were the crow’s nest (with spectacular views) and the ocean bar (with a great live band). The pinnacle restaurant is worth the splurge for fine dining at its best. Given our total experience, I know we will be cruising somewhere in the world again soon!

It was one of the best cruises that we have been on. From the staff on the ship to the shore excursions to the food, all made this trip very memorable!!

Was concerned about ship but was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the cruise.

Had documentation showing gratuities were included with my package, but Holland America did not honor. Tipped out of pocket. Customer service was horrible.

I already summed it up. Loved the ship's appearance, size, & service staff. Food not that good, but we loved the ports-of-call. DISAPPOINTED TO MISS THE EXTRA DAY AT SEA. WE WEREN'T INFORMED OF SPENDING 2 DAYS IN PT. CANAVERAL INSTEAD OF THE ONE DAY WHICH WAS LISTED ON ORIGINAL ITINERARY. WE ONLY LEARNED ABOUT THIS A COUPLE DAYS BEFOREHAND, BY A CREW MEMBER WHO CASUALLY MENTIONED IT. WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED ABOUT THIS. ALSO, AFTER BOOKING THIS CRUISE WE WERE TOLD THAT WE WOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO DISEMBARK IN PT. CANAVERAL, EVEN THOUGH WE LIVE JUST 1 HR. AWAY. WE HAD TO BUY PLANE TICKETS FROM FT. LAUDERDALE TO ORLANDO! DURING THE CRUISE, WE LEARNED OTHER PASSENGERS WERE LEAVING THE SHIP AT PT. CANAVERAL. WE WERE NOT PLEASED ABOUT THIS. WE ENDED UP DISEMBARKING THE SHIP ON OUR 2ND DAY IN PT. CANAVERAL, WHERE A FAMILY MEMBER PICKED US UP & DROVE US THE 1 HR. DRIVE HOME. CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN BOOKING SHOULD BE MORE INFORMED!

Captain did a very nice job keeping us safe from hurricane Lee. Itinerary had to change quickly due to storm. Very good job making adjustments.

Different itinerary, but missed 2 ports, 1st due to rough seas/tender port & other due to Holland America chose to do maintenance that took way too long (&inadequate compensation)

We took this cruise for the ports of call and were not dissapointed. Extremely impressed with how the tender process was handled in each tender port. They had a guest speaker - a geologist - who gave such great talks. It reallt helped make the cruise even more special.

Very nice, quiet cruise. Weather was very good and cool as we had hoped. Shore excursions allowed us to sample local cuisine and see unique landscaping.

Overall, a great adventure. I look forward to doing it again... without COVID isolation.

This is the first cruise line (out of 7 cruise lines) that had its Officers welcome their Guests to each port. Additionally, with only a handful of exceptions, the Staff were friendly, helpful and caring—VERY unusual in all the other cruises we’ve been on.

Overall the ship was nice but our room was a disappointment
