Review summary

We took this cruise for the ports of call and were not dissapointed. Extremely impressed with how the tender process was handled in each tender port. They had a guest speaker - a geologist - who gave such great talks. It reallt helped make the cruise even more special.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
It went pretty smooth. Lots of shuffling of people around the port. Reallt did not matter your embarkation time

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room - food was good. We had several excellent meals. The servers were amazing. There were times that service was very slow-seems the holdup was in the kitchen. Lido Buffet - food was always very delicious. We had breakfast and lunch there everyday while on board. All the servers were veey attentive.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Fitness center was small and got crowded. Tried a couple of classes but they were always very crowded. The 'thermal pool' (hot tub) is super small. Was not worth paying to use. Personel to get locker keys were extremely unfriendly.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Guest performaners: great. We had Akos the saxaphonist - excellent, Lisa Hartman- pianist and singer - excellent, Cantare - singing group- they were very good. 3 comedians- also very good. Onboard dancers were very good. The classical music duo were excellent. The Billboard pianist played well but could not sing well at all. Female voice could only handle a few songs, rest were off key. Had to leave the area each time she sang. Other group of singer and guitar players were much better.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
our room stewards were amazing. Our cabin was always spotless. Our dining room servers were some of the best. The servers at the Lido deck were also fantastic. Basically the servers on this entire ship were so accomodating to all the guest.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is older but our cabins were very clean and the public areas were very clean. The layout was ok. Just to get to the 4th floor dining room, you could not walk the entir deck to it. you had to walk deck 5 and then walk down to 4.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
size was great. Lots of storage space. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom could be updated. It still has a bathtub that is very high to climb into. Only 1 electrical outlet in entire room.
