Review summary

We had previously taken the same cruise on Princess. The embarkation/disembarkation process was way better. We enjoyed visiting a number of museums that we missed last time. Holland America has a great new menu with excellent sea food options. Unfortunately, they often overcooked the food.

Thw menu was really great. Many wonderrful options, especially sea food. However, my steak was ordered as medium-rare but came well-done. I sent it back and the next one was still well-done. Fish was often over cooked. It is a shame because the menu is outstanding. Dining staff is spread too thin, so they cannot check with the customers after food is delivered, which is normally done.
