Review summary

We would definitely do another Alaskan cruise, Alaska was breath taking, just not on Holland America. And we would probably leave from Victoria BC.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
There were only two ships in port and the whole thing was very disorganized and chaotic.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main Dining Room service was slow. The food in Pinnacle Grill and Canaletto was superb. The Lido Buffet was average.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We really enjoyed the use of the hydrotherapy pool, and heated loungers in the spa.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our server in Canaletto was fabulous. Her service was quick but not rushed. The Neptune Lounge hostess was great but she needed more help.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ships decor was incredibly beautiful but the ship itself showed some signs of wear and tear.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The room was nice sized and comfortable. The overhead lighting need to be more. The balcony was smaller than the other Neptune Suite balconies but still comfortable after we had our room attendant remove some of the furniture.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

5 out of 5
As flight attendants we are very familiar with Seattle and all that it has to offer. It is one of our favorite cities to visit.

Cruise Puget Sound

4 out of 5

CRUISE STEPHENS PASSAGE

5 out of 5

Juneau, Alaska

4 out of 5
The excursion to Mendenhall Glacier was a little disappointing as we were hoping to get closer to the glacier. The walk to Nugget Falls was beautiful and the falls were quiet spectacular.

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

5 out of 5
This was one of our favorite parts of the cruise. It was very peaceful and awe inspiring.

Sitka, Alaska

3 out of 5
not much to do if you didn't book and excursion

Ketchikan, Alaska

4 out of 5
The lumberjack show was quite entertaining and walking around the town/port was fun. We did the Totem excursion and half way through it we hailed a cab and left.

Victoria, British Columbia Did not visit port

We didn't get off the ship here but have heard its beautiful with plenty to do.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
There was very little direction, once off the ship, as to where to go. People seemed to be wandering around aimlessly and we had to keep asking for directions to our shuttle.

Pretty sure there aren’t any cruises that originate out out of Victoria.
