Review summary

Ship passenger count was 200 over the published capacity. Ship was badly under staffed and it showed, especially in Lido. I miss the expert speakers, Lincoln Center, test kitchen, and more.

French onion soup disappointing. Miss the lobster being served on dressy night. Loved the fresh breads. Why were shorts allowed in main dining room?

Trivia was challenging and fun. Miss the Test Kitchen demonstrations. Library was great with lots of popular and new books/novels. Grandkids enjoyed table tennis and some children's activities.

We, too, found the ship incredibly understaffed. And I agree, I miss the test kitchen, it's where I learned to make risotto 15+ yrs. ago.

Failed at the French Onion Soup? That’s a HAL go to for me. Sounds unfortunate. HAL was my first cruise, will always have a place for HAL.

Where did the 200 extra people sleep? So capacity is 2158 ,but there were 2358. Strange.
