It was a nice get away for a few days. We enjoyed our time together on the ship. The wait staff and stateroom attendant were very respectful of our needs.

My husband and myself enjoyed our first cruise on Royal.

Weather was poor almost the entire cruise. Husband very dizzy from motion sickness patch. I enjoyed the cruise and he did not. We traveled with friends. Due to the poor weather did not snorkel as we planned, but enjoyed the two ports shopping areas.

Slow down, don't try to do everything, .....enjoy your cruise, no way can you do it all, see it all, taste it all, buy it all.........remember this is a vacation, to unwind, explore, talk to someone new as locals and passengers who become friends. If a problem comes up, talk to an "officer", someone who has the authority to get something done.

Even with the cabin flooding issue and sea pass mix-up, I will sail RCCL again. Overall the cruise was great and I realize that the situation we encountered was an isolated incident (although the whole thing could have been avoided had the maintenance worker been quicker to turn the water off and the guest services staff taking care of the room switch paid closer attention in issuing the new sea pass cards...they actually got ours mixed up with another couple who were also moved). It helped that they applied the $100 credit and gave us a 20% discount for another sailing (although we're still waiting for that voucher). If not for those issues, it would have been a great cruise and a great value for the money.

Did not enjoy as much as we had hoped. Mostly due to the, I guess, age of the ship and not as much relaxing spaces.

I felt this cruise was not up to the RC standards. I have been on better RC cruises

We were here to celebrate our anniversary. The trip was very good. We wished for warmer weather, but it did not happen. Pack appropriately for sailing in January since you never know what the weather will be each day. Conditions can change in an instance. Service was great all the way around on this ship. As always, food was excellent.

The cruise was ok for my first time . Small ship not alot to do but I enjoyed myself anyway. This was a see if I enjoy cruising and to release the fear of cruising. Thanks Vision of the Sea. I will cruise again

Royal Caribbean International is known for ships with a wow factor. From ice skating rinks to zip lines, if you can think of it, you can find it on a Royal Caribbean cruise. Jamaican waterfalls, intriguing cultures, and cave tubing—cruise to the Western Caribbean. We indulged in the local flavor with fresh Gulf shrimp, Galveston Bay oysters and pristine Gulf coast beaches as you relax in southern comfort in Galveston, Texas.

Overall this was a quick getaway and much needed relaxation and fun. This is a great itinerary and ship for couples who need to unwind. If you are looking for adventure and entertainment, this is not the ship for you.

The Vision is not a flashy ship and the food was nothing to write home about, however, we had a nice time, met some great people, and being a smaller ship it was easy to navigate and find your way around. Definitely need to work on the dining experience both in the windjammer and the dining room but we didn't starve and enjoyed the experience. I do think something should be offered to compensate for missed port of call though. Understand it was not the Captain's fault but it wasn't the fault of the passengers either.

This was a family Christmas cruise for 18 people. Our main purpose was togetherness and no cooking. We had a Chinese Christmas gift exchange on board which was a lot of fun. Everyone agreed that they wanted to make this an annual affair. Parking was good at the Port of Galveston Lot 2. Sign up on line and get a discount.

We were pleased that the cruise wasn't too crowded. We had no trouble getting chairs by the pool which has been a problem on other cruises. We really liked the gym, the entertainment, the food and the pools. Overall, we had an excellent time except for one trivia game.

This was our first time cruising with Royal Caribbean. We will definitely take another cruise with them as we felt the quality of the food and drink was excellent.
