Review summary

We had a wonderful experience. It was our first cruise and we look forward to the next one.

Embarkation

We had per-paid for parking, which was very helpful. Checking in and making our way through to board the ship was quick and very efficient. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Our waitresses were wonderful -- Estrella (waiter), and Nataliia (assistant waiter). They knew our names after the first evening, even when we saw them in other areas during the day. The food was great at the buffet and in the main dining room. The menu in the main dining room offered a wide variety of choices for appetizers, entrees, and desserts, and all were cooked and served perfectly. One evening we chose to dine at Giovanni's, and it was well worth it. The food and choices, as well as the staff, were fantastic!

Schooner Bar

The staff were great. We really enjoyed the Scottish piano/guitar player.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The hot tubs and pools were very nice -- so relaxing to soak in the hot tub after a day of activity. The Zumba fitness class looked like a lot of fun even though I couldn't participate.

Logo Souvenir Shop

5 out of 5

The shops had a nice variety of gifts and needed items for the cruise. The designer watch sale was great as well as the jewelry on display.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The champagne art auction was well done and very informative, and the presenter was very entertaining. The artwork was nicely presented -- something there for everyone.

Children's Programs

No children with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was wonderful. She stopped by several times a day to leave fresh towels or to straighten or turn down the bed for us. The towel sculptures were a nice touch.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
There was something for everyone on the ship. So many choices and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything was well maintained and clean. Very efficient!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin size was perfect. We chose an interior stateroom. It was roomy and very comfortable.

Ship tip

Come prepared to have fun! There are so many activities to choose from. You can exercise, relax, enjoy the wonderfully prepared food at the buffet or any of the many dining areas, attend one of the events, enjoy an evening being entertained at one of the many bars, or sign up to be pampered a little in the spa.

Cozumel, Mexico

We chose to do a "resort for the day." We enjoyed the beach, the drinks served there, the lunch buffet, and the shops. We also went out on the catamaran, which was a lot of fun.

Disembarkation

Very efficient and organized.
