Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Everything was very good. Had great wait staff in main dining room and food was very good. Ate 5 times in the specialty restaurants and they are wonderful.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pool deck was very nice. Went to fitness center 6 times and I found the equipment to be very good.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was wonderful. Good singers; magician ; comedy and ventriloquist.

Children's Programs

No children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone we encountered were courteous and polite and helpful. Our room attendant was fantastic.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This is an older and smaller ship in the fleet, but it is well maintained, clean and comfortable.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Excellent. Very large, approximately 550 sq. feet.

Ship tip

It is a smaller ship, compared to others in the fleet, but we prefer smaller ships. So, if you prefer ships less than 2800 passengers, then you’d like the Vision class ships.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

Stayed on ship. We were consecutive cruisers.

Cartagena, Colombia

3 out of 5
It is an interesting and beautiful old city with much to see. But if you go into old town you are bombarded by hawkers of all types of products and they do not leave you alone until you’ve said “ no thanks “ 5 times and then get upset. They swarm over you even when sitting at an outdoor cafe. We would not go back to the old town, which is a shame, as it is a very nice place to stroll.

Colon, Panama Did not visit port

Stayed on ship

Panama Canal Transit

5 out of 5
Seeing the canal up close, as we did, is truly amazing to see this engineering marvel of the word.

Puntarenas, Costa Rica

5 out of 5
Just walked around the port area. Very nice shopping and places to eat and drink. Did not do a tour here.

Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala

5 out of 5
Very pretty port area. We just walked around the shops and had a nice lunch and drinks. Did not do a tour here.

Huatulco, Mexico

5 out of 5
A “ hidden gem “ in Mexico. Such a beautiful place and very friendly people. We did a tour to an archeological site and had a wonderful time. On the bus ride there saw beautiful resorts and beaches. This would be a great place to spend a week.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Just walked around the port area. Did not do a tour.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
Had a very nice boat ride out to the wonderful rock formations where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean.

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California Did not visit port

Flew out of LAX after disembarking.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy.
