This was a great trip, we met so many retired people from all over the world. There were only 7 kiddos on the ship and I think everyone enjoyed them. We may do East bound after retirement.
Embarkation

This was really quick, having a suite sent us to a shorter line (actually there wasn’t even a line!)
Ship experiences

We enjoyed all the food and the few adult beverages we had were great as well.
Onboard Activities

I did use the walking track.
Entertainment

We enjoyed most of the shows. The jugglers and 2 funny guys were 5 ⭐️, production shows were 4⭐️, pickpocket guy was 3⭐️, comedian was 2⭐️. The guy that came out to get us to clap in sinc with music was awesome 5⭐️ (he was like the opener for the comedian. I don’t remember the rest of the evening shows.
Service and Staff

We had great a room steward and waiters. The young lady at the Voom desk was very helpful, guest relations was very nice.
Ship Quality

An older ship, we could see where the carpet was coming away from some of the metal joints.
Cabin / Stateroom

The size was great for us, all the chairs & sofa were comfy, the bed I would say was a 4⭐️, our room was kept very clean.
We his was great! We even had a gentleman on the ship that had been there several years ago. He did a great job over the P A telling the history and function of the locks.
I’m giving it a 4 as we didn’t go past the port area. However the port area was colorful and interesting. There were 2 women weaving things and a musical group was playing music.
The beach was right by the ship (crew got to enjoy that!). Lots of restaurants with great food, of course lots of vendors, a nice park just past the port and more vendors. Oh, the Mexican band played for us as we got off the ship. 😁
We walked along the boardwalk area, saw LOTS of vendors and restaurants. The statutes along the beach were beautiful, the old church in that area was beautiful as well.
We used the life boats to go ashore, that was cool, we got a guy to peddle us around to the city, he was supposed to give us a tour, but just dropped us off at his buddy’s jewelry shop. We went to the Harley shop, of course, ate at a little marina restaurant, slow service though (wasn’t impressed enough to take a picture to remember the name). We walked along the marina and enjoyed seeing where a lot of the boats were registered.
