Review summary

Overall cruise was enjoyable, but there are things which could make it better. Not bad for a smaller, older ship/ but teenagers might be bored with only the pool, rock climbing wall and ping pong. The solarium pool for adults was great. There seemed to be some pretty unruly older teenagers running into and out of the elevators, and up and down the stairs and hallways-well into the wee hours of the morning.

Barcelona was a very interesting place to visit. From the open air food stands to the market, local vendors, the people. Everything about it was pretty neat. Stayed at the Gaudi Hotel for two days pre-cruise and it was right across the street from a museum. Had the best chicken croquettes I’ve ever tasted, plus churros with chocolate dipping sauce 🤗

This was basically a bus ride by attractions which we never really got to even get a decent picture of. What was supposed to be a tour (Rome City Sights) of the City sights that was for older, less mobile people. Where they parked the bus was pretty far from where St Peters Square was. You had to walk through two totally dark tunnels (only light were from people’s cell phones). We were walking into the square while other people were right beside us in the same tunnel walking back to their bus) I felt really unsafe going thru these creepy, dark tunnels. Plus, it was a lot more walking than they had indicated it would be. By the time we got to the square, waited in a long line for the bathroom, you only had about fifteen minutes left to see the square. Then it was time to turn right around and go back through the dark, creepy tunnels to go back to the bus. Those tunnels just didn’t feel safe and the darkness added to the creepiness. Our tour guide was a young person who had no passion whatsoever for what she was doing, and never would slow down her speed walking so the lower mobility people on the tour could catch up, and there were several using canes. ☹️ It was not an enjoyable way to experience Rome at all

Nice port, but there were six other ships in port beside ours that day. Way, way too many people there. Too long of a line for everything.

We had the SAME issue with the dang teenagers. Definitely the worst part of our experience.
