Viking Venus overview

The Viking Venus is a small-sized Viking Ocean Cruises vessel that will debut in 2021. The ship is intimate and thoughtfully created by experienced nautical architects and designers. The vessel can hold up to 930 guests, ensuring a comfortable experience with a small passenger to crew ratio.

Viking Venus cabins come in a wide variety of options, however each feature a veranda. From Veranda Staterooms to the abundance of extra perks and amenities in the spacious Explorer Suites, there’s no finer way to travel. All cabins feature a King-size Viking Explorer Bed, free Wi-Fi, premium Freyja® toiletries, purified water, 24-hour room service, and twice a day housekeeping.

Onboard Viking Venus, you'll find no shortage of venues to keep you entertained. Dining options include Manfriedi's Italian Restaurant, Viking Bar, The Chef's Table, the main Restaurant, Torshavn jazz lounge, World Cafe, Mamsen's, Aquavit Terrace, a pool grill and bar, and The Kitchen Table onboard cooking school. Onboard activity venues include The Viking Living Room relaxation library, The Nordic-inspired Spa & Salon, a Fitness Center, a Theatre, an infinity pool with hot tub, the Wintergarten exterior relaxation area, The Explorer's Lounge, and a top-level Sports Deck.

3 Viking Venus tips

These test cruises are a learning curve for Viking and our cruise was only the 2nd Adriatic cruise go leave Malta. Covid-19 has definitely laid down big challenges for the cruise industry, but Viking have the most robust and thorough health screening on board. Feel assured that your health and well being is of upmost importance to them.
