Although the the first two days were two fats of hell, flight delays and being stuck overnight in New Jersey and being 25 hours late boarding the ship, the cruise was more than I expected. Great ship and even better service from staff. Only problem, as noted earlier, was with the shower and it not being handled in a timely manner. Also Venice could have been handled better.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
I arrived one day late to my cruise ship due to United Airlines having multiple mechanical problems and therefore I missed my connecting flight to Barcelona which in turn caused me to miss the first 25 hours on my cruise ship. Since I was a day late, I was not given the service that I paid for by having someone from the cruise line handle my bags from the airport to my cabin on the ship. I had to carry, lift and handle all of my luggage until I was almost on the ship. No assistance was given they the port terminal or security until I was practically on the ship.

Excellent service everywhere on the ship. From guest services with Jojo and Bruna to the bar service by Ruby in the main Atrium bar.
Ship Quality

Loved the ship. Easy to navigate and get around.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was excellent, but I only gave it an average rating is because of the bathroom shower continued to have multiple problems that were only completely fixed on about the fourth day.
Ship tip
Experience all of the ship. Walk around and get to know the layout. There are a lot of different areas that are great to just hang with new friends and different areas to eat and experience different food options. Explore the entire ship
Amazing how things were preserved so well. A must see along with all of Rome. Beginning of civilization and we got to see where most of it started and it’s ruins
Naples itself was nothing to really see compared to the other ports, but Pompeii was definitely something that someone should go see once in their lifetime. But Sorrento was well worth the drive. Such a beautiful little coastal town with great views and wonderful people. Must try the limoncello.
Absolutely the best stop of all. The most quaint and gorgeous city Amon the ocean side and with the castle walls. Beautiful and historical. I will go back and stay there for a couple of weeks.
Split was also very nice. Lot of beauty and experiences await by just walking around and also driving to other parts of the city to see different views of all the island and possibilities just off the coast.
We had a terrible time in Venice. Most of it was due to weather delaying our ability to port on schedule which caused a more cluster when they tried to get us aboard the water taxis and into Venice. Not well organized and made us wait around doing nothing for too long.
