Review summary

The ship had just come out of dry dock so some updates had been made.  Some other small issues also needed addressing.  The ship is a bit dated, but overall it was nice, clean and the cruise was awesome.

Go into town and rent bikes for $12.00 per person. It was a beautiful day and we biked around for hours to see all the sights.

There is a public bus that will take you to a local beach for $.75 per person. Save yourself the cab fare. We visited Condado Beach. It was clean and safe. I probably would go to another beach next time just for a new experience.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Did the excursion that went to Blackbeard's Castle and Magen's Bay. I've heard so much about Megan's Bay and was expecting it to be gorgeous. I like Coki Beach much better.

St. John's, Antigua

Did the excursion that went to Prickly Pear Island. It was nice. Small island with snorkeling available. (Also called Robinson Caruso). Staff was friendly and helpful. I also like Valley Church Beach on Antigua. Gorgeous beach you can catch a cab to.

$4.00 per person for the water taxi across to Grand Anse Beach. Beautiful water with lots and lots of huge starfish. The beach has restaurants, bars and a market. Plenty of helpful people to wait on you.

Thanks for the tip about the public bus to the beach.  I will be in San Juan next year.
