Not My Cup of Tea… by Rdswimm

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Valiant Lady

Most of the staff were friendly. I applaud the Virgin’s effort to offer an adults only cruise. However, I missed some many of the standards of traditional cruises.

Great Relaxing Cruise! by tamiedarr

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Valiant Lady

Very relaxing cruise. Cabin was wonderful, everything works from a tablet and the hammock was so relaxing. Food was outstanding but a few misses. Would of liked more entertainment which seemed lacking. Been on more than 25 cruises and this was the most excellent service and really enjoyed talking with crew members you can understand.

First Virgin Voyage! (pun intended) by Angelus

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Valiant Lady

In choosing VV, I was looking for something different that the traditional mainstream cruises. Although each cruise line has its own signature touches, they still tend to feel the same at times. I have been on Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, and of course Carnival. But I can honestly say that Virgin feels different. The Valiant Lady has a unique and unusual layout. Not that it's bad. It just takes some getting used to. The same goes for the entertainment. I especially like the fact that it's 'adults only'. It felt like everything was specifically catering to me. Not having to adjust or tone down the entertainment just to accommodate having children onboard. It felt new. It felt exciting. And I liked it! Can't wait for the next one.

Different is different, but is it better? by SandwichDayTrvl

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Valiant Lady

We were excited to try Virgin to see if the changes they’ve made to cruising made it better or worse. And, honestly, it depends on what you like about cruising. We aren’t people that club, so we didn’t find ourselves taking advantage of the late night parties as often as others. I like that there’s no main dining. They need more room storage. There was no shortage of plugs in the room. There were so many spaces inside the ship to crab a seat and hang out.

The new cruise way? by brianh57

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Valiant Lady

I have booked another cruise out of Miami next March, to use a FCC. Don’t think I would have done so otherwise! I couldn’t get used to the “off the cuff” approach.

What a nightmare! by MotherofJRTs

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Valiant Lady / Destination: Europe - Western Europe

We knew from the adverts and what we had seen when booking this cruise that it was going to be different. What we didn't realise was that it was going to be the perfect storm of two companies that couldn't organise a Pi** up in a brewery. An 80’s Extravaganza on board Virgin Voyages, Valiant Lady with Imagine Cruising is what we booked, with top acts from the 1980’s to dance the night away to. What Imagine Cruising delivered was a damp squib! The dictionary definition of an Extravaganza is “an elaborate and spectacular entertainment or production” this was neither elaborate nor spectacular. Over 11 nights we had three hours entertainment, well actually we personally didn’t even get that as we were isolated in the “Covid Colony” having contracted it on-board the ship so we missed the third show with Tony Hadley at the end of the cruise.
