Review summary

In choosing VV, I was looking for something different that the traditional mainstream cruises. Although each cruise line has its own signature touches, they still tend to feel the same at times. I have been on Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, and of course Carnival. But I can honestly say that Virgin feels different. The Valiant Lady has a unique and unusual layout. Not that it's bad. It just takes some getting used to. The same goes for the entertainment. I especially like the fact that it's 'adults only'. It felt like everything was specifically catering to me. Not having to adjust or tone down the entertainment just to accommodate having children onboard. It felt new. It felt exciting. And I liked it! Can't wait for the next one.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was small and practical. Not much room to stretch your arms out. But it served my needs. That's all I can really ask for and needed.

Ship tip

Although I have not visited most of the restaurants on the ship, I did frequently dine at the Galley. Be patient. It takes longer than usual to place and receive your orders. Don't go there if you're in a rush.
