Review summary

Just not my style. Too crowded, bigger isn't always better. This was my 8th cruise, 2nd on Royal Caribbean. I was on board as part of a conference. The conference portion was very accommodating but we had to use the Whatsup App to find each other. There wasn't really a good place for 20 to 30 people to hang out because most of the bars are crowded. We had 550 delegates on board. Personally, I would not go on a ship this large again.

Embarkation

Quick and easy if you obtain your boarding pass on line.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining room food was good. Windjammer and Solarium good too. It was the crowd's that were distracting. With 6000 people on board it was very noisy and crowded. All specialty restaurants even Johnny Rockets and the sports bar are not included in your cruise price.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
All shows were amazing! Sitting should be Pools were a disappointment. They boast 23 pools. They are all relatively small and very crowded. Lots of activities for young families. For the over 50 crowd, not so much.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All shows were amazing. Suggested to book your seats online before you go to insure a seat.

Children's Programs

On board for a conference.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Mostly great service. I thought it was strange that food is not an option at the pool and you are not allowed to sip your drinks in the pools.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Average. Again, the crowds. Trying to keep up with all these passengers is a constant chore.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Trevor did an amazing job keeping our room clean. Average size cruise ship room. Very new, so that was nice.

Ship tip

If you are looking for non-stop activities, for families and kids, this is a great cruise for you. Buy the deluxe beverage package if you don't want to be sticker shocked with individual pricing
