The ship was beautiful. The outdoor movies were great, it was wonderful to sit under the stars in a comfy padded lounge chair and watch a movie.

The ship was very large, clean and well decorated. The service was excellent with the staff always ready to help and assist with everything anyone could possibly need. The activities were varied enough to meet all one could possibly desire.

The ship was princess cruise and it was really great experience in spite of the ship's size, which was a big one. They were extremely efficient therefore things moved smoothly. The ship's itinery was a great one and we really enjoyed every minute of it.

We went to Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Princess Star, and liked it very much. The ship by itself is gorgeous, so many different choices to enjoy multiple activities: Art Auction, live music in multiple places, drinks, very good selection of wines, and wonderful show at night. We selected the traditional dining at 8 pm and enjoyed good food with very nice people at our table another two couples. One night we had dinner at Sabatini's Italian restaurant food and service very absolutely spectacular!

Would recommend this cruise to people who want to shop. Princess people sent us on the wrong excursion so missed out on that. Still waiting to hear if I have to pay for something I didn't get.

7 day Alaska cruise July 2009, Seattle to Seattle. The cruise was a great and relaxing experience. Most of the time I found common areas spacious and free of long lines. The ship was clean and the crew were very friendly. The dining experience in any of the main dining rooms was superb. There were a few times when some of the experience got lost in the mix: the waiter leading us to our table lost us in the dining room, we just found a table and seated ourselves. There was a bacon-cheese burger with no bacon or cheese, an avocado and tomato sandwich with no avocado, a three-hour late chicken Caesar salad with no dressing. The coffee is absolutely terrible. It tastes like it was brewed in 2007 and stored in a fuel cell. Seriously, I think its instant and 'brewed' once per cruise. Apart from that, the crew really worked hard to be pleasant and helpful and the experience as a whole was quite nice.

The Star Princess is a beautiful ship, but the size can be a bit much. I've done many cruises in my days but none so large as the Star. It can be a bit much for someone to travel from end to end and deck to deck, but it gives you a chance to work off some of the great meals on board. The Scheduliing of the entertainment is a bit tough if you have the late seating for dinner instead of the open seating, you may have to choose between eating in the dining area or seeing a show. Also the quality of entertainment was not what I expected out of Princess. I've had much better on RCC, NCL and Carnival. The last day when we had a port in Victoria BC you had the feeling the crew no longer cared about you as a customer, the more or less said their goodbyes the night before and suddenly felt as if you should be disembarking instead of visiting in Victoria.

Ship layout was poor and it felt over crowded. There was a promotion going on where the website was offering a "bonus". The "bonus" was suppose to be a 325.00 onboard credit if you phoned in your reservations. I did as instructed and made my arrangements via phone. When I made them I asked if I would receive the 325 bonus and was told yes. It would be in the state room upon my arrival to the ship. Needless to say the "bonus" was not there so I called to see what was going on. I was told that they had to check to find out if I received the on bonus. Two days later I was notified that there was no bounus. This was obviously a "BAIT and SWITCH". I would have booked this through another cruise line had I known. There was nothing I could do. I am on board ship and they tell you that the promotion did not exist. It is very troubling. The ships "Naturalist" did not know her facts. Example she continued to say Mount Rainier was 13,000 feet. Incorrect it is over 14,000 feet. She tried to point out Mount Rainier from the ship, where Mount Baker would be. There are many more examples. I spoke to one couple who told me that she did not have her facts right on the Alaska portion as well. They should give this poor lady a script so she can get her facts correct.

Great ship with neat amenities. Great food servers and room stewards. The buffet was rather poor food compared to the other types of dining. Even their coffee was bad! Yet the coffee in the dining rooms was fantastic. Getting of at the different ports was a major pain, with all the perfectly managed parties and parties they couldn't get the disembarkation coordinated. They tended to nickle and dime things to death. Can't believe you have to pay for soft drinks!

Very clean ship, professional staff, great entertainment, and the best food. The movement of people in lines was very quick and efficient. Did have transfer issues between airport and ship, but went well anyway. The ship's captain was very informative enroute and we had a visit from the head chef of Princess Lines and he gave a great demonstration and tour of a kitchen galley. I can see why there are so many repeat customers to this line. This has to be the best value in travel.

This is our first cruise, we no nothing about how to take picture for keycard, we feel helpless when first board the ship, no one providing help, no sign shows to go anywhere,

It was our first cruise, we had a GREAT time & would do it allover in a heartbeat, the one thing is that there were alot of really old people on this cruise (sorry)

The staff was very pleasant and always ready to help, especially in the Horizon Court. The cabin was a little small, but was very clean and well kept, large closet was great. Overall a great cruise.

The ship was gorgeous...much more than I ever expected. My last cruise was in 1979 - went to the Caribbean. All I can say is "time have changed." The ship was beautifully appointed and very well maintained. The mosaic tile work was incredible. Just everything!!!!

The cruise itself was good. What I had the problem w/was that when we (my son and I) planned this cruise as a surprise for my wife for our 35th wedding anniversary, we made it very clear that no info would be sent to my home address in Jax, FL, everything was to go to my son's address in Jax., FL. I wanted to give this package to my wife along w/her card as a "gift". On Thursday afternoon (July 3rd) the package was delivered via DHL from the cruiseline out of Valencia, CA. My wife got the package and unknowingly opened the package she called me and asked what this was about and of course NO SURPISE!!! This was extremely disppointing to me...totalling destroyed my surprise. I was vert disappointed in this. I calleed both the cruiseline and the agent from the Cuise Only company....each blamed the other for the mistake. Who knows! I would not use this site again for anything like this again.,

Great cruise for someone not wanting to fly so many hours and sail from Seattle.

We had a wonderful time, great shows, great food, everything. I wish i was there now
