Review summary

Overall service was not what was expected. Food in dining room was minimal at best. Try to get someone to get you a drink or refill your drink was exhausting usually went to the bar myself to get what I wanted.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The food in the dining room was minimal. To get your drinks sometimes took the whole meal to get..

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Very expensive if you wanted to use the spa facilities.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The comedian was so funny. The cruise director was outrageous in a good way. His staff was great.

No kids

Other than the buffet staff the rest were not up to expectations on what I paid for the cruise. The hallway always had their cleaning carts in the way.

It sounds like cruising is not for you. Most love it, but it’s not for everyone. We travel to Alaska for the scenery and the ports, not the ship. For us it is primarily a place to sleep, eat and travel between the ports. The food has never been a primary focus, but has always been satisfactory. Most of the time we are too busy viewing the scenery or too tired from our excursions to take advantage of any activities on the ship.
