As the saying goes "you get what you pay for" Silverseas is a "luxury" line and you pay for it. That said you are treated like royalty. They go out of their way to provide whatever you ask for. There is no nickel and diming. No up charges. Everything is included except Spa treatments.

We have travelled on Silversea since they started and there is a definite deterioration. Of course they blame covid, but many times we felt that it was cost cutting. They do not even provide the daily newspaper summary - we had to ask for it. Perhaps things will improve as restrictions are lifted.......

Great cruise overall, missed not visiting Moroccan ports (due to country restrictions), food was very disappointing but service was excellent

We were a little disappointed in some of the food. There were many choices but the quality was uneven.

The cruise was interesting but a little overpriced. t gohe ship is nice with very high quality staff and dining. The excursions were OK but could have been greatly improved if they had employed headsets so that everyone could hear the guide's information.

The ship was nice and the room was quite good. The staff was exceptionally well trained and pleasant in every encounter. My biggest criticism was my perception that the cruise line skimped on the quality of food in the dining rooms. The descriptions of the dishes were elaborate and colorful but that couldn't hide the fact that cheep sea food and meats were offered. The La Terraza restaurant had about nine pasta dishes that were all meatless except one that had pork cheeks. Additionally they had separate vegetarian selections.

Silver seas offers top notch service by its crew members. The food is by far the best food in the cruise industry. Being of a different age group I probably didn't enjoy that lack of activities offered by the ship.....

I loves every minute that we were there and was very sad to leave!

This was our second sailing on this ship. High level of service overall. Not completely consistent, however. Ship needs an update from top to bottom! Looks tired and dated. Gym was in terrible shape; equipment not working, vinyl coverings torn, no video or TV working. Poor/limited wifi service offered. Sailed with another couple so the much older population didn't bother us. May sail again after the expansion and update this spring. We'll see what the offers look like and what real updates are done.....

Beautiful ship, wonderful crew, all the tasty wine and Champagne you can drink, great shore excursions, being treated like royalty for seven days - what's not to like?! 

This was our second cruise on Silversea and we will never try anyone else ever again - once you have had perfection it's hard to go back to less.

Always love my days on Silversea. Have almost 500 sailing days with this company and don't see myself going anywhere else. Service, food and atmosphere were excellent.. Southern route on crossing was terrific - not a white cap all the way across the Atlantic.  Stops in Morocco were good as well as the Canary Islands.  This is preferable over a stop in Madeira or Bermuda. Furnishing, etc. could use a bit of a face lift on the Spirit and disembarkation in Barbados is cumbersome -  too long a wait at the airport.  I would take the same trip again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful cruise, especially the itinerary.  Every port was thrilling !  The ship an staff were warm and caring. Special dietary requests were always handled properly.

The ship was dated  Rooms were nice and the restaurants were very good

Customer service at sea and on land needs a lot of work.  For a high end cruise one would expect better.  Thought it strange that the Officer in charge of excursion hosted a birthday dinner for one of our group since we have an ongoing issue regarding there complimentary excursion program.  Mix up with anniversary celebration for another couple in our group as well as confusion regarding dinner reservations.  Food was good, ports were interesting but the lack of good customer service ruined the cruise experience for me therefore I would never cruise with them again.

Luxury Only and Silversea need better communication.  One in our group was celebrating an anniversary.  Their "gift" was delivered to the wrong room on the wrong day.  Birthday of another in our group was noted on the wrong day.  My butler said Happy Birthday to me one day - it was not my birthday and Luxury Only knew that. My profile was clear that my birthday is still to come. When 2 of us arrived on ship no one informed us we needed to check in at reception.  We found out from others.  On the last day the return passports were given early to some and not allowed to be given to others - some had to sign for them - others did not.  Printed information from ship had required departure times different on different printed sheets.  Did not get weather information as stated we would in morning notices for 3 days.  Never saw the captain.  I just felt no one was on the same page and it depended on who you talked to if you received the correct information.  Also, very offended over the prebilled Silversea charity donation without warning.  Yes you were able to deny it but that made one look cheap.  I think this was tacky of Silversea to even do it.  Huge debacle over excursions that has yet to be resolved.  Cannot believe Silversea dragged their feet and the blame was batted back and forth between Luxury Only and themselves.  The poorest customer service I have ever seen.  

We just came back from the Silver Spirit Cruise to Turkey & Greece. This was the 2nd Silver Seas Cruise we had gone on. Our travel agent was extremely helpful in obtaining hotels, transfers & tours, pre & post cruise which we really appreciated.

However, the cruise itself was a little disappointing with some of the service. This was surprising since the cruise was not fully booked. Our butler & his assistant were great as were the waiter & assistant in the dining room. George in charge of the restaurants was also excellent. The service in the Italian Restuarant as well as by the pool could have been better. Overall, the cruise was excellent & we would take Silver Seas again.

Every port of call was excellent, and all the guides lived up to expectations. There was plenty to do on the ship without becoming overwhelmed. The entertainment was wonderful. The staff was attentive and friendly. The ship was decorated in original artwork by famous masters. The boutiques were well-stocked and overpriced, but they were on a floor that was easy to skip.

From the moment we were greeted at the airport by Mary to the very end of the trip, we were treated to high-end warmth, service, and excellence. Room butler was charming and helpful; room attendant was friendly and thorough; wait staff was efficient....and friendly.  The ship was spit spot clean and shiny.  Food was fantastic.  The only drawback had nothing to do with the ship...the weather was rough, windy wet and cold.  Good thing we had a elegant ship in which to ride.  We will definitely return.

Ship is fine though the fact that they allow smoking is sickening to me. Most crew are super to deal with. Pretty boat with luxury accommodations.

Our first cruise but certainly won't be our last.
