Better to make your own pre-cruise or post-cruise hotel arrangements - even factoring in the transfers, you save a lot of money.

I PAID FOR THE UPGRADE. A FLIGHT DIRECT FROM D.C. TO ICELAND TAKES A LITTLE OVER 5 HOURS. INSTEAD, I WAS BOOKED FROM DULLES,DC TO BOSTON AND THEN TO ICELAND. AS A RESULT, MY FLIGHT FROM D.C. WAS DELAYED, I MISSED MY FLIGHT TO ICELAND, LOST A DAY IN ICELAND, AND MY LUGGAGE WAS LOST.

Do not overpack. Expect the possibility for an older demographic. If shows and performances are your thing, look very closely at what is offered. If a nice relaxing and fun time with great shore excursions are on the ticket - it is a wonderful ship.

When Ray Solaire is the cruise director (twice for us on the Voyager), you're guaranteed to have a great time. Wonderful, entertaining gentleman. Because the ship is small, you know many crew and passengers and everyone is always smiling and happy.

Would like to have one casual dining / bar area that permits blue jeans. When arriving back at the ship late and just wanting a quick bite and drink, we don't want to have to change for an hour or two.

The excursions were typically all day so there was not much time for relaxing & and enjoying the ship. Maybe pick some shorter excursions or skip a day to stay on board.

know where all the eating areas are on the ship because there are many - also be sure your dining reservations coincide with your off ship tours
