Review summary

Covered most of it above except the tender service which was poor. It seemed like people in charge were not well trained in when to have tenders come and go which resulted in big groups waiting in the hot sun for tenders to arrive as well as sitting on board for long period up to 30 minutes when the tender only had a few empty seats. This is the one area that needs vast improvement and more oversight from senior staff.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Good--lines were a little long but it moved along at a reasonable pace.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dinning room was excellent most nights but a bit slow with wine service at times. The french restaurant Chartreuse was excellent in service and food and Prime 7 was very good for food and service but not as good as Chartreuse and tables seemed too close together. and

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
There was enough things to choose from and they ranged from okay to good.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Two main highlights were woman singer and a male piano player, who performed as individuals, and were exceptional. The group performers were fair.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Almost all were excellent although a few were going through the motions--

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
It was functional in all areas. The areas that were excellent were the computer room where you could almost always get to use one and technical help was frequently available. The decor of the main dinning room was also exceptional. The coffee corner needs more seating.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Decor and condition was very good, closet space was better than most ships, bathroom was well done with adequate space and good finishes. King size bed was excellent. Living room a big plus.

Ship tip

The main dinning room is as good as the specialty restaurants and with more choices.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

4 out of 5
Location of hotel booked by Regent was excellent with many restaurants in the area and a tram service across the street .

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Did a tour of Nassau which was good.

SANTIAGO DE CUBA, CUBA

4 out of 5
Did a tour of the city which was good but it is a very basic place which is interesting but a bit sad.

CIENFUEGOS, CUBA

5 out of 5
Much more to see in this city and more upscale. We visited a place where we hear a local choir which was excellent.

HAVANA, CUBA

5 out of 5
This city is clearly the highlight of the cruise with much to see and do and rich with cultural sites.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It went quickly and smothly.
