Review summary
The Voyager had just come out of a 10 day dry dock for interior upgrades and on day of embarkation our check in was delayed over 2 hours because the ship was not yet ready to board. The first full day of our cruise the ships cruise director kept making apologies for things not being "show ready" and thanking everyone for their understanding in the matter. Several days into the cruise the pool had yet to be open and the room attendants and ships staff were still "putting things into place." We were in a catagory F-Deluxe Suite and were pleasantly suprised by the rooms ample size and large walk in closet. The bathroom had a seperate shower and full size tub which would have been great had it not been for the lack of water pressure in our cabin and the foul, musty oder that came from the shower drain when it wasn't in use. A mention of this to our room steward seemed to fall on deaf ears. The service on board was comparable to other cruise lines (Holland, Celebrity, Disney) and a few of the bar staff and and wait staff were expecptional (thank you Simone, Rosie, Andrew and VeJay). The all inclusive aspect of the cruise was a huge plus and and the smaller number of passengers made for a pleasant, almost private, cruise experience. For the money that we spent, we were disappointed that the ship was not in perfect order when we boarded.
