Review summary

If you use Regents air package be prepared for long travel days. You do not know the itinerary until just before departure and then everything is full and basically unchangeable and they charge you to change it. Regent does NOT have previews of the upcoming excursions which we missed greatly to inform us specifically and in general about the areas we were about to visit. Viking is our go to and comparison cruise line and we feel still the better choice for us.

Suite had a tub, not walk in shower and was much too high to enter safely although the purser was able to switch us out to a stall shower suite that did not have 6 foot on clearance, floor to shower head.

Ship tip

consider a younger ship.

Installed Hamworthy water treatment plant on this ship with other engineers in 2004 including my brother who unfortunately has since passed away , it was classified as the top luxury cruise ship in the world that year.
