Regent is a very lovely cruise line. Love that you don't have to worry about tipping! It's all inclusive, so if you come with no cash, you can still eat, drink and enjoy the ship. The clientele are low key and wonderful. Most of the travelers are 70+, we are in our 50s, but we met the most interesting people and really enjoyed the trip.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Quick and easy. It took a couple of hours to get our bags, but it was nice being able to grab a bite to eat, lounge at the pool and take advantage of the Canyon Ranch Spa before departure.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We had an opportunity to do a galley tour during the cruise. Let me tell you, the kitchen is spotless! Purchasing and ordering is all automated, so the F&B manager can tell what is needed for the trip. Only wish they would have had a specialty night, where there were themed food nights. There's no mexican or indian food served which I would have loved to have after 10 + nights. One of the chardonnays that I preferred ran out after one week! It was my favorite. :(
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Fun and easy activities. This ship isn't decked out with all the extras, but the pool was nice, the sauna and cold room were great! Met fun people at the events, when we were out to sea.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Enjoyed many of the performances. Missed a few due to late dinners, but the ones we saw were fabulous.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was awesome. I did the survey half way through the trip and they were on it!
Ship Quality

Beautiful!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Large rooms, luggage fit under the beds so they weren't in the way. All rooms have balconies which are fun for arrivals and departures from ports. Huge walk-in closets, lots of hot water for my daily baths!
Ship tip
Don't expect a theme park experience Very elegant, but casual ship. Enjoy meeting the other travelers, many who have traveled the world!
this was an embarkation port, but we did take advantage of the pre-cruise nights. Beautiful, fun city. Do take advantage of a night or two in this city.
Three days were a little long, if you don't get into the excursions you want. Due to the visa requirements, we were not able to take advantage of walking on our own (we did not get a visa. we did the cruise tours to be able to view the city). Really enjoyed the tours, just wish we would have seen the Hermitage and maybe taken advantage of the extra tours in the evening.
