The Solarium has 52 deck chairs - spaciously placed. Other ships of this class have three rows of chairs that are more crowded. So, it's nicely spacious, but not many chairs. Don't be shy to have pool attendants move towels holding chairs after 30 minutes, or you will never get a lounger.

Ship is not laid out like the bigger ships and places of interest require more planning to learn your way around.

Enjoy the Serenade for the ship that it is. It is smaller but we still had a great time on it. It is very easy to navigate and most of the shows are worth seeing. Bring items for extra wall hanging (metal hooks) and extra hangers for the closet. Enjoy her! We had a great time.

Great ship! If you are looking for more of a traditional cruising experience I’d definitely recommend this class. The ship may not have all the WOW things the newer ships have but she is still great ship to sail on for a fun vacation.

the windjammer cafe has a bar and seating area in the back of the ship that is usually uncrowded.

If you are vegetarian, main dining only offers 1 option at dinner. Rest of menu limited and basic, needs improvement.

If you are someone who likes to use the main dining room for your meals, we found our location in 3014 perfect. Just a few steps down the hall and one flight up to meals. And just a few steps to the elevators that takes you right outside the Windjammer on deck 11.
