Review summary

The solarium staff was very rude. The loyalty concierge had no idea what he was doing. The food was so bad that I will no longer book Royal Caribbean. Two nights on the new menu are disgusting, Mexican night is the worst followed by Italian night. The only thing on the menu is dried up chicken parmigiana and bolognese. I went to the very crowded Windjammer for pasta and meatballs. Very few eat dinner in the Windjammer usually, when you can’t find a table in the Windjammer on Mexican and Italian night, why wouldn’t they fix the problem. Customer loyalty is a thing of the past with Royal Caribbean

We did b2b on SOS in March, 2023. Our first time on Serenade. We are loyal Royal cruisers and been on many RCL cruises. We will continue to cruise RCL. I say all of that before I make the following comments. We ate in main dining room most of time: food was terrible, Mexican and Italian night was bad The selection was so bad, I tried to order shrimp cocktail for appetizer, main entree and dessert. Could only order 2. You would think Butter patties and rolls were gold. There were 2 of us…so we got 1 each. We had to ask for more each night. Service was real slow in MDR…Went to Windjammer after that. Casino really small. Rust on outside of ship and royal is using SOS for world tour. Bad choice I could go on, but won’t…. You get the picture. First time I’ve ever left Royal a bad review. It’s always been a 10+ Excellent. I’m sorry Royal you’re new board is ruining everything for your faithful cruiser’s.

We were on the ship in November with the same itinerary we had no problems dining room food was good staff was nice and worked hard
