Review summary

There are many positives in this cruise but was ruined by the Key package which disappointed my wife and I. Instead of having a relaxing cruise, we got stressed out because rccl keeps on charging us for food room service which clearly stated on the description as free. The 1st guest services staff told me that the promo I bought did not include the free room service food delivery. To which I told Kumar that if you buy a shirt from a department store the store will not take out buttons because I bought it on sale. I expect to get the product that I bought and Kumar took care of the issue.

The services provided by our main dining waiters is excellent. Our room attendant does over and beyond our expectations. The room service staff would deliver missing items in our breakfast.

The Key package does not include free room service. If you only ordered coffee and a continental breakfast (pastries, croissants, muffins), it’s free. If you ordered anything else (eggs, omelettes, pancakes, french toast, etc), the charge is around $7.95, per cabin. It may or may not have gone up in price.

There are some issues with Alaska cruising that cruisers need to patient with. 1st - Skagway suffered a rockslide at the dock last season and there is concern a giant boulder at the top of the hill may drop so the docking schedule takes a hit. 2nd - growlers (little ice bergs) create a hazard to marine traffic when trying to visit Dawes Glacier. I suspect both of these cancelations were due to safety concerns.
