Review summary

Wait times for dining and service during dinner in the dinning room were subpar. With reservations we waited sometimes an hour to be seated and even longer to actually eat. We never made the show times because dinner took so long. The very first night we were there, we were asked by the wait staff to give them nothing less than a 10 service rating. Other crew members were not very friendly. Other cruises we have taken the staff sing, dance, are very energetic throughout the cruise. That was not the case on the Serenade. This was our first Royal Caribbbean cruise and we were looking forward to it. The poor customer service left us with no desire to return to Royal anytime soon. If you are looking for low key, uneventful entertainment, grouchy staff members and overall general disregard and rudeness, this is the cruise for you. Otherwise, spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

Was on the serenade in February 2016👍👍😎 The ship was beautifully decorated the entertainment was very talented,crew attentive food excellent!!! Have a back to back cruise booked for next winter with Royal Caribbean👣🌴 My wife and I believe the only way you can have a bad time on a cruise is if you don't like ships and water👍😎

Sailed on Seranade last year in June, no problems in Resturant or anywhere else, good entertainment in the Resturant as well, no complaints about service, entertainment was good in the Theatre as well as in the Atrium. It was overall a happy ship, the captain, from Poland, was great, did some fine entertainment with some of the Officers and other crewmembers. Royal again.? Yes.

We had a similar problem with Royal a few years ago, we had booked to have the same table every night but the head waiter put us at differant table most nights and on the Gala Night he allowed a couple in flip flops, shorts and sleevless tshirts to be seated at our table, we did complain but to no avail and have not sailed with Royal Caribbean since and never will again
