Review summary
If this was your first cruise you’d love it. But previous cruisers would notice several issues that were annoying. Princess are obv trying to cut costs especially with food quality. Eg. Previously, Steak was on the menu every night. This has now been replaced with a beef burger. Chips were served a lot with main courses. No free coffee or tea on menu. The other thing that we didn’t like was that Princess (& indeed parents) would let their teenage (feral) kids wander around the ship late into the night. On one occasion, a particularly objectionable floppy-haired yoof decided he would play the grand piano (badly) in Crooners bar after midnight. Reported to front desk. Nothing done. Similarly the “no jumping or diving” signs at the pools were permanently ignored by younger kids & their parents. Princess security did nothing to stop this. The pools and jacuzzis on previous Princess ships would be closed (netted off) after 10 pm. Not on this ship. So all these things mean that for us, who have previously sailed with Princess, standards have fallen (Excursions & prices at the bars have not though! )Embarkation
