Review summary

Although some of the ports were dirty overcrowded and had very little appeal, the overall cruise was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. We made some great friends onboard and were sad to depart.

A very smooth and quick experience, but the cruise port in Singapore is so well equiped to handle this

For the first time for us we ate every meal ouside the back of the Lido in the fresh air. The weather was so beautiful and the evenings so balmy that we skipped the dining room experience completely

Although the ship was old it was kept in faultless condition, although it does lack the glitz and sheer luxury of the more recently built ships.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

Although this is an older ship it is so suited to longer cruising. We chose a budget stateroom with no balcony but in retrospect it was OK. If you choose a stateroom close to the lifts it's a very quick trip up to the lido deck. Noise certainly wasn't an issue for us.

We caught the hop on hop off bus, but we were overwhelmed by the sheer number of visitors. The port area was beautiful as was the old parts of the city accessed by the lift.
