Had a great time with our friends, Alaska’s scenery is so beautiful, and cruising is an excellent way to see it!
Embarkation

Awful. Originally it seemed so well organized, with staggered arrival times and all the documents pre- uploaded…. Then we got to the port and the line snaked around the entire port area, it seems like they had no inside facilities for people to group and wait/board, so some people stood ( no benches or bathrooms unless you dared get out of line and hiked about a quarter mile) for 3 hours! While we loved not having to fly, since we live close by, I would rather not cruise out of SF again until they do something different.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

All fabulous, loved the “grab n go” tidbits at the buffets. Main dining room was great, almost better than the Specialty restaurant we tried ( Crown grill)
Onboard Activities

Hot tubs were awesome, weather wasn’t warm enough for me to get in a pool, but some people did- still loved hanging out on the comfy chairs. Loved the spa and Thermal Suite ( but I think it shouldn’t cost extra ), generally loved walking around outside on the ship.
Entertainment

Only made it to one stage show which was awesome. Loved Gideon Alcide , we kept following him from venue to venue! Watching Karaoke was fun too.
Children's Programs
No kids

Everyone was very attentive and friendly!
Ship Quality

It was easy to find things and it never really seemed crowded. Everything was clean and comfortable and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Sparkling clean, and the bed was super comfortable! The shower was tiny, I ended up in the spa on most days so I took my showers there most of the time. Not sure how a heavy/large /tall person would cope! Loved everything else, it could have used another storage cubby, but we managed.
Ship tip
Read the fine print in your little stateroom screen when it entices you to play the “Princess prizes”game- we signed up without our reading glasses and found out later that it cost $20 per day!
Nice little spot, I took the tram to the top and my husband went on the keep tour and we both really enjoyed ourselves even though it was rainy and cold.
Loved spending time just cruising around the spectacular scenery, even though the fog hid a lot of it- made the best of a cold rainy foggy day, loved seeing all the sea otters and seals!
Lovely little spot, went out on our own, strolled around the Sunken Garden and just walked around and shopped and took pictures- one of two sunny days! Wish we could have gone to Victoria, but this was fun too.
