Alaska is always beautiful, but the service on Princess has diminished. When we ordered a drink with a meal, we were often served when we were finished eating. Wait staff tried but they were disorganized.

The food throughout the ship was very good. Service was lacking. We often waited for service in Crooners or the Wheelhouse, and it was hard to get a second drink. Although all wait staff were friendly, they were either inefficient or understaffed.
Our meal at the Crown Grill was wonderful, as was the meal at Sabatinis. We waited too long to get pizza or a hamburger from the outside grill.

The two production shows were great. We don’t like magicians or the comedy shows.

Opening up the buffet to self serve was clearly a mistake. Our part all tested positive for covid when we returned home. Although the ship looked clean, we did not see heavy disinfecting nor did we see employees prompting cruisers to sanitize their hands.

Good location. Jose, our cabin steward, was efficient.

Bring a tote bag. Princess no longer provides them
Took a wildlife excursion on Princess t see bears. Although we did not see any, Alexandra, our guide, was knowledgeable and we enjoyed ourselves in beautiful scenery.
There was little to see. We were very disappointed because we had expected to visit Victoria. We visited their local museum but it was not well set up.
Your review is consistent with others on this site who have cruised on Princess. They are no longer a reliable cruise line as they have not reinvested in their product.
