Review summary

Here is a brief summary of our cruise: We embarked on Saturday and left for Juneau. Arrived in Juneau Monday morning and took a whale watching tour which was exceptional. We got to see several humpback whales, sea otters and bald eagles. We left for Skagway Monday night and arrived Tuesday morning. Our excursion was the White Pass Railway...again an excellent choice. Leaving Skagway Tuesday night, we were able to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights, then we arrived in Glacier National Park Wednesday around noon. The glaciers and other scenery were so beautiful. Quite an experience to see it. Ketchikan was our stop Thursday morning. There we took a bus tour and then boarded for Victoria, Canada where we arrived Fri afternoon. The city is very beautiful and we really could’ve used more than our 5 hrs to see it all. We took a bus tour which was informative and which showed us several of the city highlights. We leave Victoria Friday night and arrived back in Seattle Saturday morning where we disembarked and heard for Home. All in all we had a wonderful cruise on the Ruby Princess and will definitely use Princess again.

Embarkation

Embarkation was smooth and relatively quick for the number of passengers being checked in. Our stateroom was early sooner than expected and our luggage arrived at the stateroom in a timely manner.

Disembarkation

Disembarkation was slower than expected but relatively painless. We used the Port Valet service which saved us a lot of time and effort in getting to the airport.
