Sail date: June 30, 2018

Ship: Ruby Princess

Cabin type: Inside

Review summary

My main complaint about the Ruby Princess was that the Adults only pool was closed and after the first day they closed off several of the hot tubs, which were small to begin with. They should have had all pools and hot tubs available. It would be nice to have the pool area covered for cold/rainy days.

We got to port at 7 p.m. and had to leave at 11 p.m. so there wasn't much time to do anything.

Thanks for sharing your cruise with us.

I have seen pools closed on many occasions, usually for good reasons. Primary ones were these as were just too big on cruise to Hawaii, the last two times it was dues to high winds. Very rarely "just because"

Hmm bummer!!!

Wonder why they’d do that

If you want the pool covered then go out of San Francisco on the Grand Princess. I’ve cruised to Alaska before and all the pools were closed because of currents and other issues.

Did you ask them why?
