Review summary

Another memorable Princess Cruise. We seem to get in the habit of finding a table in Horizon Court, strike up conversations and if it's a sea day, converse for hours. This was no exception. On sea day one, we asked to sit with a woman, then were joined by a gentleman. We had so much fun, we called ourselves the Breakfast Club. Day two, we all found each other and the fun continued.

Embarkation

We were In-Transit, so we were off the ship and back on within 1/2 hour.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We were so impressed with our waitstaff from Leg One, we asked for the same table and staff. The Menu's we the same as Leg One, so we did change things up. Went to Crown Grill one night and ate dinner in Horizon Court two of the night.

Onboard Activities

We signed up for the Ultimate Ship Tour, which we did on our last Sea Day (Day 6). There were only 10 of us. It was beyond ultimate. Got to visit backstage of the Princess Theater, the medical facility, photo and print shops, the engine control room, one of the galleys, the mooring station (where they drop anchor) and... the Bridge! It does cost $150.00 per person but... There is some swag. Delivered to our stateroom later that evening was and Princess Bathrobe, Princess Apron, 5 photos (including the group with the Captain) and Picture frame and a notepad. Well worth the $$.

Entertainment

Great musician's, especially Jane and the orchestra.

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

Out of our 15 cruises (8 with Princess), this was the most accommodating staff we've had. All the other were great, this was just extra special.

Ship Quality

Nice for an older ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Great location. We don't mind an upper deck, Forward (or Aft).

Ship tip

Do the Ultimate Ship Tour!!!!!

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California Did not visit port

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

We were thinking of taking a cab to Playa de Muertos but due to the heat and humidity, we just walked across the street to the Liverpool Mall and.... Ready? Wal Mart. I think we was more crew at Wal Mart than on the ship. Since it was Halloween, we bought extra candy to give to any kids we saw, but also the Staff.

Mazatlan, Mexico

We took the City Highlights excursion through Princess. The area right around the port is very industrial. It was nice to get over to the Melacon and see the beautiful beach areas.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

We did an excursion through the ship that took us to a glass factory, then to Los Cabo. On the way, the driver mentioned a special margarita with the Damiana Liqueur in it, so during our free time, I had one. Best margarita I've had...

Disembarkation

We had friends picking us up, so we were off the ship around 9:30.
