Review summary

It was an old folks cruise. I am older and this cruise made me feel old. I used self motivation to go do things. The ship really went to sleep by 11pm. Need that DJ thing going on. No big night club party for people who wanted to dance until 2am.

Embarkation

Easy ..... i rushed myself but did not need too. Organized setup. Gave ourselves plenty of time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Understand your package before you arrive onboard. Know what you have and know what you will get. Drink package? Which one?? Do your homework because customer service is still in training.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I did not participate much in these areas. They were under used by most on my cruise.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
More DJ time. Not what I thought all night party jam that was....... over by 11pm????

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Great help from room stewards. Outstanding waiters. Service desk was challenging to get a problem corrected. Stand fast and wait for it. It will come.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship design ..... wow is all i can say. Clean ....... they did a great job.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Small as I expected. Shower made me work for it but i got the hang of it. Water can be hot!

Ship tip

Study your map and tour the ship within 24hrs. I did not like getting lost. Don't buy promotional items unless you check the internet first. If it sounds 2 good ....... google it!!

We just turned 40 this year and are super excited to be on a ship with a slower pace since our lives are on the constant GO. Looking forward to chilling out and not feeling like we HAVE to do anything.

Fair balanced review. Good to try different lines and see what you like. Princess is perfect for me after trying four different lines. I realize it is slower paced and not all will like that. Good that you tried it and hope you find the cruise line perfect for your tastes.

I agree. I just wanted a little more dj music.

It's a given that Princess caters to the "older" crowd. Which I now fit into. Younger people would probably be happier on a cruise that caters to their tastes. But it's encouraging to see these folks that look like they can hardly get around out enjoying the few years they have left. More power to them.
