Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The main dining rooms was way too bright, we didn't experience any specialty restaurants, about the buffets, we don't like it so much because it seems like they serve same breakfast and lunch everyday, we rather to go down to 5th deck to the international cafe.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
we enjoyed the fitness center, we like the sanctuary area. and we did several on board actives, it was fun, we wish there were more actives such like free yoga class.

Try the International Cafe one morning for a break from the buffet and dining rooms.

Hi GIL 155 What is the MDR ?

GIL155    7 years ago

I can understand what you are saying. I do different items for breakfast along with my 'staples' each morning so I enjoy breakfast. Have you tried the MDR for breakfast as a change?

There are two dining rooms on that ship that serve breakfast also yeah I didn’t have to eat the buffet every day when we were on the ship last year the food was excellent

bobagirl, like you I was underwhelmed with Princess buffet breakfast. Most of it is similar but at a closer look there are daily changes. The potatoes change daily as well as types of sausages etc. Also you can get made to order fried eggs, eggs Benedict, and omelettes. But even the daily items must number above one hundred which is more than most restaurants so you can certainly choose to never repeat. But you are right, it does start to look the same. Maybe instead of a lot of comfort foods they could do exotic themes to shake it up.
