Review summary

Weather was cooler than expected, and rainy for several days, but overall a great trip. Lots of choices for shore excursions, wonderful food and attentive service. Activities for every age group and great entertainment. Minisuite (M1 class) was roomy and well-appointed. Club Class was well worth the extra cost. Learned belatedly there was a shipboard credit for veterans, but it was too late to get the credit. Bought a "Coffee Card" but didn't use all the punches, it did provide unlimited regular coffee and hot chocolate (maybe also tea) outside the dining room though.

Embarkation

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

Wonderful city (but expensive). Did city tour on disembarkation and was dropped off at our downtown hotel. Did Boeing tour next day independently.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Enjoyed Mendenhall Glacier tour.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Took and enjoyed the White Pass & Yukon RR excursion. Not a lot of time for shopping or other sightseeing.

Ketchikan, Alaska

4 out of 5
Not very long in port, not as many attractive excursions. Did the "Duck" tour which gave a pretty good overview of the town, which was interesting.

Victoria, British Columbia

4 out of 5
Very brief stop. Did city tour which was very good.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth and orderly. We were off quickly at our appointed time and baggage was waiting for us in the terminal at the designated location.

You can always use the punches on any other cruise with princess, any ship. tuck it away safe! or send it to me! 🤣

If the ship did not put the cruise info on the back of your coffee card, you can use it on your next Princess cruise. Sign up now for your Veterans credit. Thanks for the Club Class advice. Have not done that yet.
