Review summary

Princess & Alaska lived up to their billing! We saw part of the best of God's majesty in a ship with an extraordinary staff! We are grateful for this awesome experience!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was smooth & without stress!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We loved having so many options, & were not disappointed in anything we chose. Especially enjoyed our "dress up" dinners, made to order omelettes, & pizza whenever we were hungry.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We didn't participate in the provided activities, but enjoyed awesome pizza & cards with our friends.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We enjoyed all the entertainment, especially Paul Baker & The Voice of the Sea!

Children's Programs

No children with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We were so impressed by the staff! They showed us favor & made our experience delightful. Our steward, Geraldo, couldn't have been more helpful or gracious! We hound our dinner waiter, Victor, to be very endearing & entertaining!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Yes! Even though the ship appeared to have some wear, it was impeccably maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We loved our cabin! First cruise we took with a balcony! So worth the extra money!

Ship tip

Be patient & take the stairs (if you physically can), rather than get stressed while waiting for an elevator.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington Did not visit port

Juneau, Alaska

Loved viewing the Mendenhall Glacier & Falls.

Skagway, Alaska

Enjoyed the train ride & B. Restaurant! Such fun atmosphere & relational staff!

Ketchikan, Alaska

3 out of 5
Such a cute port, but not enough time to fully explore it. Next time we would skip the Lumberjack show.

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
The Butchard Gardens did not disappoint! Not only was the landscaping amazing, but the American Boys Choir voices heard throughout the park made us wonder if this experience was like being in Heaven.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We had prayed for days for favor when disembarking, since we were getting off the ship early to catch our flight back to the Midwest. Shortly after embarking, we learned we would be on our own, & with two large bags, two carry ons, & a wheelchair person... we were concerned. But God & Princess were faithful, providing a willing staff member to push the wheelchair all the way to the cab stands. We were so grateful!!!

So glad you enjoyed both the Ruby and Alaska. I have done the same, just not on the same cruise.
