Review summary
The views of Glacier Bay from the ship were wonderful and the narrative given by the ship's staff were very informative.
The on land tours recommended by Cruise One Specialist were well worth the price. The tour guides were very well informed.
I did not like the selling atmosphere while on the ship. Was somewhat surprised by the prices of extras with soda and the special dinner. Paid for one special dinner-Crown Grill. The food was just ok and the service was better in the general dining rooms. It was very disappointing as it was our anniversary and we expected something special. The staff of the ship are great. They were very helpful and respectful at all times. The boarding, departure, and the transportation from the ship to the airport were all very organized and all was quick when you considered the number of people on board.

Ship tip
Do anytime dining. You get to choose when you want to eat. Waits for a table were not more than 15 minutes in the main dining rooms. Buffet was sometimes crowded but could find a seat and service was always good
