Review summary
1st time cruising and it was a blast! The staff onboard the Ruby Princess are so friendly and welcoming. Buffet food is OK, main dining room choices were wonderful! Wish we could have tried more of the restaurants, but overall the food was great! We saw dolphins, humpback whales AND killer whales while cruising into Skagway! Very cool experience. The destinations were awesome, I only wish we could have spent more time in Canada. Ketchikan has a cozy feel, make sure to pick up Salmon while you’re there! Favorite place was Juneau- lots to see and do! We took a helicopter ride onto the Mendenhall Glacier and it was worth every penny! Because it was a short excursion it gave us time to explore the city! Skagway was great as well; if you like King Crab, make sure you eat at Tracys!! I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking to go!
