My wife and I recently completed an Alaskan cruise on the Ruby Princess. WOW, what a wonderful experience. I cannot say enough superlatives regarding the ship, staff, and cuisine. Everything was perfect shipboard wise. The weather was not so cooperative but the Ruby Princess' crew members and the Juneau photo safari and whale watching excursion more than made up for the weather. I would highly, highly recommend that you consider the Ruby Princess for your Alaskan cruise.

Cabin / Stateroom

Larger than we thought it would be. Very well appointed, extremely clean and well kept. Most comfortable bed I've every slept on. I'm searching the internet to buy one.
Ship tip
Book mid-ship deck 14 if possible. Rotate meals between dining rooms and buffets. Make sure to read dining menus daily as they change. Enjoy the desserts at the Piazza International Cafe. Best to eat late at all locations because they can be crowed between opening and up to 2 hours after.
Ride public transportation & stay close to the airport if you want to save money. Forget renting a car, use the train in and out of the downtown area. Don't miss Space Needle and the Market (early morning)
Beautiful city but you will need more time to see than you have on a cruise. It's definitely a place to visit separate from a cruise. Butchart Gardens are beautiful but not enough time on a cruise tour.
My husband and I sailed on the Ruby last year..to Alaska. We renewed our vows on the ship.❤️ We're going again in September! We're simply addicted. Went zip lining last year...doing the dog sledding & small group whale watching this year..can't wait❣So glad you enjoyed your trip. 😊
