Review summary

First off I found the entire ship staff to be rather indiferent to us and felt like my card was not the right color to receive attention. The steward was great but even on the last night I did not know his name nor was there any interaction with him. The food was great in the dining rooms but the Buffet was the worst one I had been on. Same food served all seven days for breakfast in the Buffet no changes at all. The rooms were clean and the ship was very clean. Two formal nights was to much for me and I was turned away from the Dining hall for wearing Black slacks and a Sweater not fancy enough. Casino small but once again it mattered the color of your card to get any attention there. Entertainment was very Boring, From 3 piece Symphony to a Piano man show in the theater not real exciting. Biggest gripe was we went by the glaciers in the early morning when no one was awake and missed the experience. Previous cruises had us pulling up to the glacier and staying for a few hours. That was probably biggest gripe.

Probably never go on Princess again.

Mrs. Davonavo here.... We were treated beautifully by Princess staff from our first cruise. The card color didn't seem to matter. A couple at our table had a platinum card (I think that is the highest?). They have been on probably 25 or 30 Princess cruises. Their card gives them lots of other free perks, but they weren't treated better by the wait staff.. We were equal in that respect. It appeared to us that they were anxious to please us all so we would come back. We will soon be going on our 6th cruise, 4 on Princess. I think that if you treat people respectfully and with good cheer, you will get the same in return.

The itinerary for each day is available when you book. I've scheduled a glacier catamaran cruise for mine that meets up with the ship at 7:30 am. I'll be setting an alarm and having room service breakfast that morning. Should be fun!

As I recall, there were other places to eat on Formal Night where no dress code was enforced. Hey, did you try "in room" dining? you can dine in your skivvies!

The cabin's Stewart's generally meet and greet everyone on the first day of the cruise. Also his name and contact information was on your desk the entire cruise.
