Review summary
Great cruise. Positives far outweighed any negatives. Staff was exceptional and went out of their way to make this an enjoyable experience. Quality of food was very good, wine selection was good and bottled wine prices were very reasonable. Staterooms were kept clean and refreshed often.
Only three minor issues: First, casino should be smoke-free all of the time. Even on smoke-free nights, the smell was offensive. Speaking personally, I would have spent a greater amount of time and money in the casino had it been smoke-free. Second issue concerns dining. Inadequate seating in Horizon Court (buffet) was a constant issue. Lots of sharks circling looking for a place to sit down and eat after getting food. Third, breakfast should not take one and a half hours to be served. While this did not happen often, it did happen several times in the DaVinci dining room. This was not only an inconvenience, it affected other plans for the morning.
Again, positives far outweighed negatives. It was a real pleasure working through . They answered all of our pre-cruise questions promptly and accurately.
