Review summary

My first cruise was good. If I ever cruise again, I will take something for motion sickness!! I didn't  get neauseated, but could feel the rocking motion of the ship too much.

The shows on ship were great! Such talent.

The food was wonderful. We ate our main meal in DiVinci Dining room.  Head waiter, Neal was super.

Thanks for sharing your cruise.

If you are taking the patch, start wearing it a few days to a week before your cruise to acclimate your body to it. That way you can play from the first day.

One other thing. Psyche yourself into enjoying the slight rocking at night while sleeping. Think of it as a cradle and you will sleep like a baby... 😁

I tried ginger, but it doesn't work for me. I hear it worked very well for many people. The pressure bracelet even works for some. The patch will work, but it can have side effects I don't like. I tried it for awhile when on a week long cruise in rough seas in a small boat. Halfway through, I switched to Bonnine. . I have the best luck with a very small dose of Bonnine..1/2 chewable pill, once or sometimes twice a day..am and pm

Don't take Dramamine, take ginger pills, they work great and no drowsy side effects.

I sometimes get a heavy feeling in my stomach from the slight motion. since than and for quite a few years, I take 1/2 a Bonnine twice a day. I feel great on small rocking boats, snorkeling, vans and also with the slight occasional rolling of the ship. I tried Dramamine, but it makes me tired. everyone is different. I just want to feel in tip top shape when I cruise. There is no reason to feel nauseous or "Rocky".. That's no fun.

Seas began rough but always wear wristbands until I see no whitecaps. Also book room in midship, makes a big difference! But ruby has great stabilization just had to find the right place to be when we began. Wonderful cruise... Excellent cruise line! Will be back.

Always take before you set sail

Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip. If you didn't feel nausea you don't need motion sickness medication because that's what it's for. It won't do anything to make you feel less motion from the ship.
